Maria Kampyli graduated from the Department of English Language and Philology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2001. In August 2002, she got a literary translation diploma from EKEMEL where I studied for two years (European Center for the Translation of Literature and the Human Sciences). Her final dissertation involved the translation of a short story by Angela Carter. She has since focused on the work of W.B. Yeats in her research.
